Probably cuz how much time we spend online for two reasons, One online you can get away with some more stuff and two lots of us spend too much time online and that's not actually good for us. No, people have always been violent. We have less deaths now than say Victorian age and earlier. Before social media and 24/7 news, you only really heard the big stories and very local ones, you did not hear about other places in the country unless a huge story. Now however you have social media, 24/7 news that seeks to report on every single thing it can.

Nah that's an absurd idea that comes from delusion people. People are the same amount violent as they have always been.
However if you were talking about crime rate going up or other things there is way more factors and reasons to such things, but it is not that people have got more violent.

Sunni and Shia have been killing each other since 632. Horrendous wars have existed long before. From 2005 forward I spent over 9 years in war zones in the middle east. Define more violent... and what time period are we looking at? Have they gotten more violent this year? Past ten years vs the ten prior? This century?

I don't think people today are as violent as say in the old west era or the 1800-1900 era compared to today but that doesn't mean people aren't violent today. It's still the same world. I'm currently on the final few days of a vacation and the day I arrived here I heard they're was a hostage situation at a nearby bank tower who threatened people with a supposed bomb. The police ended up having to snipe the guy to take him down. 😅

I guess so, sadly everything in our current lives put you on rage mode!
Back in the past, all the factors made things easier on a person, plus the women backthen used to cool their men down, absorb the negativity and turn it into positivity, when this happens, the men wouldn't be able to commit violence against their women but instead it will be switched to love unlike today where feminazis fuel the rage and violence in men!

Tbh. It's hard to say. We got way more news coverage then we did in old days. So maybe it just feels that way because we see everything happening.
