Why do you think the world is getting more and more violent?

I believe there's many factors that contribute to the increase of violence. First, violence is glorified in media, such as games, movies, TV series, and music. People are becoming desensitized because they're exposed to violence on a regular basis. I should also mention gore sites, because it's even more accessible to expose yourself to real violence. Even children have access to gore sites, and they often share gore videos in order to shock each other.

Second, there are political issues that results in poverty. This leads to rise of cartels, gangs, drug trafficking, and sex trafficking. People often resort to violence in order to survive. Third, there's a decline in mental health. Perhaps this is due to social media, because people are more isolated than before. Humans are social animals, and the effects that isolation has on physical and mental health is insane. The same with stress, because humans need each other to survive. In the past, if humans were socially excluded, then they would quickly die. We still have this innate desire, and if we feel socially excluded, then our nervous system perceives this as a threat to our safety.

I digress. In summary, the increase in violence can be explained through desensitization, culture, social media, policies, poverty, declining mental health, and isolation. I'm sure you can see how this interconnects, but people are becoming more miserable and desperate.

Because traditionally the US was the strong power keeping it all together, so countries like China had to take a different approach they executed really well. You'd leech off the economy using slave labor to get proper capital of your own but trough lobbying you stay a third world country despite being a super power. Then with your massive budget you infiltrate other governments and corporations trough bribery and blackmail, but also trough their massive market. They have a very large profitable population but demand corporations merge with local alternatives, if you do that they have your intellectual property to leverage against you and of course that partnership will last on their terms.

But now we are a lot further and imagine they, others and the people who can profit a lot from war cause devision and destabalization to the US as a nation while simultaniously prepping up China and antagonizing Russia and other regions. Now suddenly the balance is completely out of wack and way more even. Thats when a war for dominance happens to stay on top.

... Its not... Its literally the opposite. Just because you are getting more aware or informed of what violence there actually is around the world does not mean there is more of it happening today.

I think the world is getting more and more stupid and people are subject to dealing with it which is when you deal with it in a daily basis it's putting people over the edge because you can't believe sometimes how stupid people can be and then you got to deal with it. But yeah, it is definitely getting a bit more violent because when you tell a stupid person they're stupid they argue with you and then you know you get pissed

I don't- I think we're seeing the end of a long era of unprecedented peace. This is just a return to the norm.
