Should American citizens be forced to house migrants to ease sanctuary cities being overwhelmed?

I have my own belief on this, but this is merely a topic I have seen be brought up. With cities getting overrun with migrants, some officials suggested to have citizens house them in their homes.

Regardless of your answer. Two rules will apply here. Stay civil being the first rule and the second being to explain your decision per your vote.

Sanctuary cities are those that have decided that, on a given issue, the law of the land does not apply. Some of the laws they're objecting to are awful, and state governments can't override federal law, but it's still a bad idea; if it's used at all, it should only be for extremely dangerous laws, not things like marijuana illegality. If a city lets in too many people, the idea of forcing citizens who had nothing to do with that decision to house them is governmental intrusion on an almost apocalyptic level.

Especially in light of who's in the White House: if you count his Congressional career, Biden's 9 for 10 in violating the Bill of Rights. The third is the only one he's missing, and this would give him a chance.

No they should not be. The western world needs to start looking stopping the rise in global migration. Prepared for incoming, however Russia is weaponising immigration and moving people to western countries. Look at the numbers of Russians fleeing their homeland including FSB trying to gain entry. What if they are not fleeing, look at number of Chinese etc. the numbers Europe and the US are facing is crazy, something does need to be done as the vast majority will not get jobs or will be used by employers happy to use illegals.

Granted these are older articles, but to answer your question, yes. It has been proposed. There is not enough public space to house them amd with all the money they are using to aid the migrants for shelter and sustaining themselves, it isn't a farfetched possibility they would ask citizens to house them.

Again. It doesn't change the fact it has been proposed and as you said it sounds so retarded it can't be true. Here is the truth. It HAS been proposed. It ISN'T being forced. It DOESN'T change the overall gist of having citizens potentially house migrants.
