It's a bunch of cultural stuff that varies with each culture but there tends to be some commonalities among men and among women. If you want to find the true differences between the two, you must look towards biology. Men and women store fat differently, our skeletal structures are different, women have XX chromosomes and men have XY except for the rare exceptions which only prove the rule, etc.

But yeah, behaviors are incredibly malleable and depend on how you were raised. Your nature will play a role but I firmly believe it is nurture that determines the vast amount of your behavior. 4-13 years are some of the most formative years of your life. If you're raised by rough parents that want you to be tough, chances are you're going to have that rub off on you regardless if you are male or female.

Like I said, the physical part is the main distinction. People are malleable when they are kids.

@OddBeMe the fact that that is a rare exception only proves the rule. And that's a pretty poor exception to use as well, it's just a imbalance in hormones. It's not even messing with the person's chromosome which would have been a much better example to use on your part.

Oh wow Odd, you DID use that example, good! But personally I would need to ask a lot of questions about that person's biological functions. Do they unleash viable sperm? Do they have a uterus that can carry a baby to turn? What would scientists hundreds of years later examining the skeleton conclude?

My guess is? It's a male with an unfortunate mutation.
