That bill was designed to make things worse. It allowed 5000 illegals a day to cross and even if 5000 illegal came in , more could come through the ports of entry. It gave Homeland Security the authority to let anyone it wanted into the country, The extra border patrol agents would not be keeping the illegal out, They would be processing them and releasing them to the city of their choice, never to be seen again. It was a horrible bill and Mike Johnson did the right thing to not even hold s vote on it.

Their Illegal alien children can also be found overloading our State Government run schools and applying for goverment run benefits. You kick them out or even just deport them and the parents you also get rid of a large share of the illegal alien population.

State Governments can easily do that as students have to register provided the Federal Court actually allows them (the corrupt court has not in the past)

As for the employers you would need the State's army of police and informants to do that. Thus far only a few states Like Texas are even trying to do that. Even then you would only identify such employer when you identify the illegal immigrants working for them, so you might as well arrest and deport them as well.

To the contrary many States are actively turning a blind eye even when they catch Illegal Aliens committing other crimes, this is the standard of what is called a "sanctuary state/city". Other such states have been caught actually warning the illegal aliens /employers when ICE shows up.

Regardless the feds should be paying for said enforcement and one of the main things a good bill from congress could do is offer a bounty to every state for every illegal immigrant and employer turned over to them. This would allow them to utilize that army dynamically everywhere in the country. The other thing congress can do is shutdown lawless courts that forbid states form kicking illegal aliens out of their state run schools.

Instead one of the other measures The senate's Border Bill did undermining the broader was move such cases to the D. C. circuit to not only slow them down but give them a court that is most likely to release them.
