The biggest change that's needed in my opinion in the world is to reduce corruption. Corruption undermines the peoples motivation and energy. It also slows down innovation and the progress a country could make. It reinforces financial inequality and it can lead to deaths too.
It stops us from solving problems with simple solutions because there's other interests at play and the difficult but important problems don't even get adressed at all. I live in a country where corruption is not a big issue thankfully but I think our goal should be that humanity as a whole progresses and with corruption I don't think we can get anywhere close to our potential. It is a cancer that paralyzes a society and it sets a bad example from the top that has negative effects all the way through a country.
I believe in general people are good and want to work together to make life better for everyone but when the government at the top sells their people out and tells them with their actions that they don't care about them people will lose hope and become more selfish and greedy themselves. There will always be some people who will support others no matter what (like people who run foodbanks for instance) but it becomes way more difficult when the entire climate in the country is going in the opposite direction and there's no real support for social programs. A corrupt country will cut any support for people who need it as much as possible to give more money to rich people.
i mean big problems are big problems for a reason, stuff like crime, house prices, rent, healthcare, poverty, war, disease - i think most people would want to change any of these general umbrella terms
Yeah me too, I just figure if it backfires somehow (because it's magic a whole society changing automatically at your command) then the risk would be much smaller if you only made a small change. Can you imagine the potential backfiring of something as big as "no wars"? Maybe I'm just pessimistic though, thinking of it like a monkeys paw type situation..

It is just a bad influence in every way possible.

i'm sure there would be repercussions to getting rid of all of the world's biggest problems true
Everyone would respect everyone else's life, liberty, and property
