I can't wrap my head around the complete negligence regarding our own border security in this country. I'm well past the point that I believe these people are actively committing treason and intentionally making it worse.

We have spent significantly more money on Ukraine than we did for the Marshall Plan (rebuilding Europe after World War 2). This is insanity even before digging into the blatant corruption and laundering schemes, or the geopolitics or morality of the issue in the first place.

There was a bipartisan bill that passed the Senate that did both. Republicans in the House rejected it.

All it did was to let more illegals in faster up to 2 million per year if that passed and that only the start. He has all he needs to close the border by Monday morning plus the fence is already paid for and is rusting because of Bidens executive orders to open the borders that Trump had closed by executive order.

It allowed the president to close the border if the daily rate approached nearly 2 million a year, there's no current limit. It also allowed people to be rejected from the country faster ($4bn to hire people to process claims), and even built some wall. Some people would say that the minority party should take yes for an answer.

Especially as it's what they demanded as a price to consider funds for Israel and Ukraine. Not bringing it up for a vote in the House, where it would have surely passed (it only takes a couple of Republicans to be sane) is anti-democratic.

What I and most Americans want is that the border be closed period. I don't want 2 million or twenty illegally which is what is happening now. I am not talking about people who come through ports of entry legally but the people who enter illegally. Two million illegal unvaccinated unvetted unknown. What about the people waiting for legal entry to this country see this happening and still cannot enter. What really oissed me off is people in this country for over twenty years and bitch what's wrong with this country and have all its benefits and have not filed for citizenship.
