I certainly won't miss him, but this won't actually benefit the GOP much. Mitch has about a dozen other like-minded senators under his wing who are just as corrupt, arguably more useless, and would rather burn the country down than actually reduce government spending and power abuse, and have actively sabotaged members of their own party who won't play ball.
According to the WaPo, his replacement will most likely be Thune, Cornyn, or Barrasso. All three of these guys have their heads buried up Mitch's ass like ostriches, and Barrasso in particular has a history of flipflopping whenever it personally benefits him. Thune is the current minority whip, and Cornyn has been Mitch's protege for years. In any case, things aren't really going to change.
Should have a long time ago. We need term limits for congress so they don't get entrenched and subsequently corrupt AF.

He should have stepped down years ago. I watched him stare into the eternal nirvana in front of a row of microphones several times. And people in the GOP question Joe Biden's age?
If he could develop time travel to step down four years ago that'd be better...
His time has passed. He has gotten vapor lock while he is speaking one too many times!
HE should have stepped down years ago. Fuck that yertle the turtle.
It doesn't matter.
Yes, and so should Schumer.
Sooner then later would be good.
Nope, he will in November
