That would be rather difficult as that is a system. There are "electors" who operate as agents of their respective states and cast votes as instructed by their states.

Theses votes however are cast in their respective states and sent to Washington D. C. by a legal fixed date. Which is why you have only that much time to deal with election fraud issues.

It is also why you have to have congress send the elector's vote back to the States for clarification to get more time.

There is nothing to storm, it's not like they meet in a big room somewhere.

And it's not the electoral votes that are the problem, it's the counting of the popular votes that gets interfered with.

The electors are allowed to vote for anyone they want. If they wanted to, the electors could say, "if Team A wins the World Series, we'll vote for Michelle Obama, if Team B wins the World Series, we'll vote for Trump."

They can use any criteria they want to determine who they will cast their electoral votes for. The standard they've chosen to use (but could change at any time) is who won the popular vote in that particular state. If the popular vote is corrupt, then the electoral vote in that state will be wrong.
