If I had a partner and they were to only vote for the opposing side to that which I had to vote for I would have to break up with or divorce them. When it comes to family it wouldn’t matter much to me. I’d have a slightly different view of them but that wouldn’t cause me to remove them from my life.

Nope as I have friends and family already that vote differently to how I vote and I'm still able to keep relationships with them

In terms of things like values. I wouldn’t want to be with someone who has different values than me and if that showed in the way they voted I’d want to break up or divorce

Oh I couldn't give a rats-ass how they vote, or even IF they vote. I have friends who have all sorts of different political opinions. It doesn't really matter. So I guess that means my answer to this hypothetical would be "no."

I don't have to vote. My vote doesn't really count. Nobody's does. Unless about 1k people from a state don't vote, their votes are meaningless.

Okay I misread the question. I would never vote republican even if that was my only choice. I would sooner not vote at all. I guess if I was married to somebody who could only vote Democrat that Democratic vote would have to suffice for both of us.
