Considering Presidents can authorize nuclear air strikes, drone bomb people, and give the green light on international commando raids, I think it’s safe to say they enjoy an immunity that other Americans do not. They have to. If you or I do a commando raid, we become terrorists, when the president does it, it becomes foreign policy through military intervention.
