Why do you think women got one DAY for their achievements and contributions, recently, but gay get a month?

The justification would be that the "LBGTQIAPPABC+" is a minority group with a history of discrimination.. Whereas women encompasses half of the essential population.. But I do think that Women do have a month.. March..

Either way, why does this bother you? Why waste time getting upset over people who want to celebrate themselves. Let people be happy. Get upset about crime in your neighborhood, children starving because they live with food insecurity, get mad about that pothole in your neighborhood that hasn't been fixed in 2 years despite the complaints. Get mad at things that actually impact our health and well being.

Sorry, I didn't realize gay people were the ones who had to announce everything. 🙄 i don't know where you live or why you're still in school, but where I live people definitely know and celebrate that it's women's history month. It goes black history month, women's history month, and next is Arab heritage in April. If you're upset that people around you only seem to care about certain months and not others then maybe you need to be the one to speak up about it. The month is not even halfway over—you have plenty of time to do something to celebrate women's history! 🤗

Of course you wouldn't know... Look, there are 12 months. Every month actually has multiple "themes." Heritage and awareness are the most well known. If you want something to be talked about more during its month, YOU have to make that happen. Do you think lgbt+ people were just automatically celebrated as soon as June was assigned as their heritage month? No. They had to go out, organize events, spread the word, and show up. They MADE it popular. And unfortunately for you men's month (not a heritage month but an awareness month) is also June: Men's health month. LGBT+ people don't have an awareness month, but men do. So you had better get on that too if you want to draw attention to it like they do.
