Trending & News I've seen a Trump presidency, and I've seen a Biden presidency. Trump is far from perfect, but compared to Biden - well, there's no comparison. Biden has been the personification of evil, and every single thing he's touched (and, yes, we're all aware that he's really a sock-puppet, and it's the people behind him that are making the decisions) has become much, much worse.
Trump is crass, not the most elegant speaker, and he's pompous, but if you look at what he actually DID, virtually everything was an improvement. The economy was better, the job market was better, a number of bad laws were corrected, certainly his handling of the border was better, there were no new wars and he achieved SIX peace treaties during his first term. Hell, the man walked into North Korea ALONE - no Secret Service or anything - to have a discussion with Kim. You'd never see Biden having the stones to do that.
No one thinks Trump is a saint, but ANYONE looks like a saint next to Biden, who is systematically destroying the country. That's why Biden's been losing ground in ALL of his key demographics - even his main supporters can see the truth with their own eyes, and they're turning away. They may not become Republicans, but a whole lot of them won't be voting for Biden. It's hard to imagine why anyone would.
LOL
I have been aware of Donald Trump since 1973.
There's a good reason - MANY good reasons - why New Yorkers can't stand him (one reason why he left and became a citizen of Florida); we've had to deal with him for decades and we know what a rat bastard he is. The rest of the county is about 2 to 4 decades behind us in knowing the truth about him.
Think about this:
Usually in elections, people vote for the "home boy" - the man or woman who is from the same place they are from.
Donald Trump is from New York City. Lived in Queens when young, but in Manhattan as an adult. So, going by that general rule for normal candidates, Trump should have easily won Manhattan in every election.
How many voting precincts in Manhattan did Trump win in 2016? 0
How many voting precincts in Manhattan did Trump win in 2020? 0
Think about it: Donald Trump lost in 2016 AND 2020 in New York City yet he himself is a native of the city.
So, why did he lose so badly at home? Because... We know what he is: A fucking rat bastard.
Trump is financially in a lot of hot water because of his legal bills. He just secured a bond for $100M from Chubb, among the largest insurers on Earth. But that $100M is associated with his E. Jean Carroll sexual assault / defamation cases that he lost. He's now on the hook for about $450M more because of losing his fraud case in NY. The NY Attorney General gave him a grace period of 30 days (until 25 MAR 2024) to either pay it or post bond for it before NY will start seizing Trump's assets. Trump's lawyers just filed that they have consulted with 30 companies, including Chubb, to post a bond for Trump. NO ONE - NOT ONE SINGLE ENTITY - would post bond for him in that amount. Why? Because "Money talks and bullshit walks". They know that Trump is untrustworthy and full of shit and they don't want to lose their money because 1) that's a lot of money, 2) Trump has a history of not paying his bills, 3) they don't want the headaches of seizing his real estate if he loses any appeal and can't pay them, and 4) they know he WILL lose his appeal... because he's guilty as sin having committed fraud. Some of them were probably victims of his fraud. They want no part of the Titanic that is Donald Trump.
Remember that: Money talks and bullshit walks. When it comes to money, the bullshit disappears and the truth is revealed and, in this case, the truth is that Donald Trump is full of shit and about as trustworthy as Satan.
i live in New york. you wrong! nobody here "can't stand him" just it is a blue state!
you can't measure a blue state. you think trump bad? at least he not a democrat!
@strateguy632 I am from New York too. If you live on Staten Island, certain sections of Brooklyn, and in the racist parts of LI, you're probably for Trump. The mature thinking empathetic adults are not and the electoral maps illustrate that.
TITLE: The City That Raised – and Rejected – Donald Trump
SUBTITLE: New Yorkers knew Donald Trump first – and they spurned him before many American voters did.

Donald J. Trump was a president from, but not of, New York.
In the final months of his presidency, Trump attacked New York as a lawless "ghost town," and got attacked right back. At least 73% of New Yorkers citywide voted against their hometown candidate in election 2020, with absentee ballots still being counted. In Manhattan, where Trump lived before becoming president, every single voting district went for Joe Biden.
...
As I've said many times on here, my family worked with his family in NYC, specifically on real estate dealings. Saying he's a "fucking rat bastard" doesn't even begin to address what a degenerate, pathological liar and narcissistic prick he truly is.
But "some" people believe what they want to believe, no matter how much evidence speaks to the contrary. The term for these people is "fools, or willfully ignorant". These are the maga-cult folks, and the proof is that no matter WHAT were to happen, or be said, they would still believe Trump.
They would not even believe it if he blatantly came out and said " Look, I think you're all stupid, easily swayed idiots who'll do whatever I say - just the kind of dummies I like. I really don't give a shit about you or your situation, so just send money and stfu. You, and America, are only as good as you can be used to enrich me". He could say this, and maga's would respond by saying " Nah, he's got a plan. He loves us".

"Trust him?" LOL. No. No further than I could throw him. I believe actions, not words.
That being said, I think he is by far the best candidate at this time. His administration was better that those of Dubya, Obama and certainly Biden. Things actually improved under his administration. I hate to think what this country and the world would look like of Killary had won in 2016.
I'd like to believe that Trump will "drain the swamp", but I don't think he will. I don't think it's possible. But I tend to think that things in this country will improve with him in the White House and that the world will be a safer place.
Trust him to do WHAT? No, he is not Hitler in the making... none of that media bullshit, that is talked makes an ounce of sense. Of course I trust him to do what is the correct/right thing for the benefit of his country...
Look at the fucking mess we are in now, with a mentally deficit, falling up the stairs President... The Electorate in this sorry country is so god damned wishy washy, as to elect an imbecile who has no idea of what he is doing in the office of President.
We are the laughing stock of the planet.
Yes I do !.. remember when Trump was president? minus the pandemic , the world was a much better place.. America actually had influence , he made peace with North Korea , made peace with Russia , made peace in the middle east where I live.. all that despite people in power hated him and never really cooperated... I don't care about his ridiculous personality or his minions.. for me , Trump is literally the only one out there with actual credibility !.. yeah , I trust him way more than anyone else..
This is a joke, right? My family worked with his in NYC and the horror stories are endless. Every accusation you've ever heard has a 95% chance of being true. He's bamboozled millions of people in his career, and the latest is the maga-dolt cult. Here's an analogy for you: Trump can be trusted as far as you can throw an elephant.
The one and only reliable thing about Trump is that he will lie to you. If his lips are moving, he's lying. He's worse than any politician, and that's saying a lot.
95% chance true? so far all the false accusations were exposed 95% false.
@strateguy632 LOL Only in your mind. Hmm...
*19 felony convictions against the Trump Organization, which he argued "doesn't exist and he has no part of",
*$454 million in tax fraud which no surety company will give him a bond for because he's so trustworthy
* Guilty of defamation and sexual abuse and assault, for millions of dollars
And that's not even part of the remaining 70+ indictments against him.
Yeah, all of this is 95% false --- including the one where he knew NOTHING about FAKE ELECTORS to try and overturn the election.
Oh, also... I suppose the classified documents he stole and refused to return, then showed to unauthorized civilians, and which had to be confiscated, weren't really there, huh>? There exists no group in the world that I know of who are so massively in denial than maga'-dolts.
that's the current effort... after legal manuevers have largely failed to destroy him, the effort via media the next 6 months is to destroy trust. make him look as crazy as possible and worse than Biden. fear is the control.
I never did, all you have to do is listen to Trump when he said "trust noone". That would include himself. he is largely, right.
So don't trust him. But I don't like Biden admin either nor trust their judgement.
I don't trust ANYONE who stands to benefit from positions of power. If however you are asking would the world be a safer place if Trump was running the US? Absolutely. I believe all the wars that have happened during Biden's Administration, would have been avoided!
Biden is a very weak man, and an even weaker President in my view!
Of course not, I support him this election, but he's still a puppeteer who caused for cases where things were less transparent and then claimed those were victories. I pay enough attention to know he can't be trusted just like every other politician so I don't support him because I trust him. I support him because I think it's the best for the long term future of the US and assuming he is the most likely to address some of the urgent issues the country is having.
Of course not, he's completely unreliable. He doesn't pay the people who work for him, he stiffs his investors by going bankrupt, he sells crap, and he lies all the time, which is why he's on the hook for nearly half a billion dollars as we speak (and also the reason nobody's willing to put up bond for him, even though they stand to earn $9 million, if wins his appeal or pays up).
hell no i don't. but i mich rather have a crook who isn't trustworthy as a pesident than having a senile dementia zombie as a president who couldn't do the right thing if he wanted.
Please ask this same question about Biden. Even better if you did a mytake comparing the results.
Trump is looking for a business empire. I don't believe he has the slightest clue of what diplomacy and comprise is. "Make America great again" says, "Our way or the highway" to me. My biggest fear is that he will turn America into a global opponent.
I do not trust any politician. However I think he really wants to make America Great Again for his kids and grand kids.
He's very predictable in general.
I' m willing to trust him, as long as I can remain far away from his activities.
No, but I do trust him more than our alternatives.
I don’t trust anybody i don’t know and only about half those I do!
No, I'm sane enough to not trust any politician.
I don't trust any politician. Trust must be earned and no politician has ever done that.
luckily trump was in business not a carer politicians
I trust that I know his overall intentions and they coincide with the country being successful.
I could spend an hour just listing things he's lied about.
he didn't spread the country's ass cheeks wide open for illegals like those who oppose him are doing. that's enough for me.
This poll is proof of the site’s left leaning bias
I trust him a hell of a lot more than the overwhelming majority of the government.
I trust Trump to always do the wrongest, most corrupt thing. He's quite predictable.
Of course not. Doesn't mean he won't win the presidency though.
Support him or not, only a moron would trust him.
And then treated our German chancellor like some unwanted visitor.
he earned trust already first term
nasty gross politician. and he's a businessman.
haha self contradicted! not a career politician. you think he is gross? at least he isn't a democrat!
Completely and implicitly!! Why wouldn't I?
Like I'd trust a rattlesnake.
I don't trust any politician. They all lie
I trust him to be the sociopath he is.
I trust this man
I dont
Why not tho
