yes, if we had an enlightened oligarchy of people who served six year overlapping terms.
The US has two business people, two philosophy professors, two history professors, two miliary generals, and two family psycholgists running the country. Every two years, two of them step down and repaced with others for a six year term. They come up with and vote on legislation. In case of a tie, it goes for a national vote.
Don't be ridiculous. If you get rid of the politicians there's nobody to steal your income and call it "taxes".
Nobody would be there to get rich doing fuck all off your income...
There's no possible way America could run this well without politicians.
It could only run infinitely better...

shallow family guy explained this one. the management needs representatives of people, to decide how to manage like laws n respond to situations. n executive branch too.
lets replace government with people to decide and manage... all without government.
Likely better if people could set their differences aside. And if we are all being honest the cause of nearly all of the divide is caused by politicians because if there is no divide then people see through their bullshit. If all the people on here really get down to it we all want the same things. To live life, to find love, to have a family. To not have to deal with drama, threats or bullshit.
The issue isn't (and can't be) politicians. The issue is the role of government in society. Shrinking that role down substantially, and moving more of the governing role down to local and state government is the solution to much of what ails the US today.
it would run better because it would be true democracy, without any parties or anything, and it would be harder to take away peoples rights. And it would smell better with no stinky politicians.
There would be anarchy, tribalism and mob rule. Then regional Kings would emerge and a Feudal society would occur.
There is value in a ruling body but as soon as it does any more or less than the bare minimum (if you want a good idea as to what that bare minimum is, look at the bill of rights) is illegitimate.
Someone doesn't know what a government does
