This is why I hesitate to continue writing for that magazine mentioned in the article. Christian Conservatives want to take down feminism and have women having babies so we dah all get back to the good ole days. (No thanks). Problem is, a lot of people don’t need to be having kids various stages of their life, and effective birth control methods are absolutely necessary.
there's one editor there who strongly advocates for natural birth control, particularly the rhythm method which involves tracking your cycle and only having sex within those time frames, which is absurd to assume most people are going to follow that properly without it being a serious buzzkill, and the risks of pregnancy are still 25% using that method. Holy anxiety!
Of course, the pill isn’t for everyone and like all pharmaceuticals, it comes with some possible side effects, but it’s important to find an ACTUAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER you can trust, not a social media influencer, and also do some of your own research (from reputable sources, again, not TikTok).
I’ve been on the pill for 17 years and for me, the pros outweigh the cons.

Because if they can scare women away from. birth control, they'll either abstain which will appeal to the Christians, or they'll get pregnant and be unable to abort which appeals to the controlling of women they enjoy.
This probably falls under the broader umbrella of society at large losing faith in doctors' ability and knowledge to keep them safe. A lot of people just don't trust the medical establishment anymore and they're trying to go a more natural route. We see the same type of thing happening with ADHD and mood disorder meds. Doctors have been prescribing hormonal BC like its Pez for years, and they don't ever really talk about possible side effects the way you would hope.
Hormonal BC fundamentally alters your brain and body chemistry. I've been hearing horror stories about hormonal birth control for years. The changes a lot of these women go through are wild.
Maybe because they don't believe in birth control, just a bunch of bull.

I can’t read those links cause I’m not going to sign up. But that new bipartisan bill allows women to kill their babies right up until birth.
So they don’t need birth-control anymore. You haven't noticed all political agendas involve lying?
Don't trust the media. They lie about everything
