The "trap" of not being a dead end? Of having your genetic material continue after you die? Of actually fulfilling the final third of your biological purpose?
Becoming a parent is the most important thing most people ever DO. I suppose that calling it a "trap" at least indicates she's taking it seriously, but sheesh...
I would bet good money she didn't always feel that way. Her feelings on the subject evolved over time as she slowly came to the realization, she was too ugly and undesirable to men to find one willing to impregnate her. And her views on marriage and motherhood evolved in her mind as her bitterness bosomed in her heart. In other words, she's a classic feminist.
Nope. I would take a wild guess and say she says stuff like that to cope her not having any decent male options.
No. That's a sad way of looking at things.
