What Israel is doing to Palestinian civilians is wrong, so many babies, women, and children have died and are suffering. Netanyahu is extremely right wing and only cares about power. People need to understand that Zionism in it's current form is wrong and I cannot in good question support something like that. As an American Jew, it's mind-blowing to me that people can support this kind of stuff after everything that happened in the Holocaust.

Zionism is a nationalistic movement that merely uses Judaism as a righteous excuse.

People have been brainwashed to believe the Jewish persecution narrative since birth. They believe that Jews need their own homeland as a result of the Nazi "holocaust". But the so-called holocaust had nothing to do with it. Plans to colonize Palestine began in the 1800s. Britain agreed to cede part of Palestine to Zionists in 1917.

Some people also believe that God promised Palestine to all Jews, whether or not they have any connection to the region at all. European Jews are not descendants of Abraham.

It is Zionists who conflate anti-Zionism and criticism of Israel with antisemitism. Accusations of antisemitism are very effective. Jews can do anything and get away with it because all they have to do is play the antisemitism card. And they laugh about it.

So, the answer to your question is - ignorance and stupidity. All most people know about Israel is what they are fed by Zionist controlled government and corporate media. They've never read a book in their lives.

If this was an actual genocide, which it’s not (despite the spittle-spraying screams of I’ll-informed college students) Gaza would've been leveled within 72hrs, and the West Bank would be gone a week later. (Funny how the West Bank never gets mentioned) There would be no Palestinians left to even discuss the matter.


To say anti-Zionism is different than anti-semitism is a lot like saying slavery wasn’t anti-black. The motive behind slavery was economic, not a desire to oppress Africans, but to the slave in chains, ripped from his family, the finer points of such an argument are vile semantics.

Israel is not targeting civilians. Palestine on the other hand is. I have posted links on other comments regarding this very topic. The idf is complying with international law when it comes to trying to have civilians removed from areas of operation. The issue is Palestine and Hamas refuse to move the civilians to safety. Now that being said. I have been to Israel and spoken directly with the military and even some of the leaders of Israel. They just want the fighting to stop they don't want to keep having to defend themselves from Palestine or Hamas they are fine with both living as they are. But they will not give up their country to them.

The Israeli government specifically told Palestinians ahead of time that they were going to siege Gaza. They let people evacuate before they began the siege. Trains were sent in from various countries to evacuate people that could not leave by their own means. Groups of Palestinians were flown out. Many left in their cars because they didn't want to be part of the fight. Those who stayed planned to fight. They kept their family with them on purpose. Even now, rather than walking to the border to throw up a White flag in surrender, they still stay, because that's where they want to be, in the fight. People die in war. It is what it is. They can surrender any time they want.

There are 14.3 million Palestinians around the world. Among that ethnic group there are roughly 2.25 million Palestinians in Gaza, 1.8 million of which have evacuated to safer locations after being notified by Israel ahead of time. This means only 3.1% of all Palestinians have stayed to fight in Gaza against Israel. These are extremist supporters of Hamas and their family members that have choose to stay and fight. In no way is Israel trying to exterminate all Palestinians. Israel is targeting an extremist Islamic socialist terrorist group that brought war on Israel. The people of Gaza elected Hamas as their government, and Hamas has shown over and over again that it wants to eradicate Jews. If Israel doesn't sieze this opportunity and destroy Hamas once and for all, what happened on October 7th will continue to happen over and over again in the future, and it will be worse and worse each time.

Gazans knew what their government did on October 7th was going to happen, and they elected them anyway. Saying Gazans are innocent, and calling Israel's reaction to it "Zionism" is naive at best.
