I was very lucky and I was at the doctors office with my neighbor and then I knew we had to get out there and line up and get the job done so she gave me two sunglasses to look at it and I looked you can see that there were something going on, but it’s hard to tell by just regular sunglasses, but standing behind me, there was a person that had special glasses that was letting people borrow the glasses. Where I live only the bottom portion of the sun was blackened out. I looked at it twice, with the darkest pair of sunglasses I could find. Not the brightest idea. I tried to take a picture of it, but it just looked like a regular sun. I totally forgot I got pictures and video of one before.
Um... the Scientologist, or as he likes to call himself "Ancient astronaut theorist", actually had an interesting theory, that we must've come from another planet that had no sum, because surely after so many years, we would have evolved an immunity to the sun
I'm in California and it was barely noticeable here. I didn't bother. I do have 6 pairs of eclipse glasses - those cardboard-frames things that look like home 3D glasses but have mylar for the lenses. But I didn't even get them out this time. The last eclipse about 4-5 months ago was much more visible here.
Liberals shriek about the dangers of the eclipse, but really they're the one's behind it. Wake up, it's called cancel culture. There's a lot of things you can do when you cancel the sun, such as:

I looked at it, off and on, for a few seconds each, using certified eclipse glasses. I also did the pinhole trick. In our area, the whole thing lasted about two and a half hours from start to finish, with about 80% totality at its peak.
I did not pay anything to watch it. I watched the full coverage on the TV. Besides, it was just a MAGA fake to push the lie that Trump can control the moon.

Nah. I figure I've seen one, I've seen them all. I don't see the amount of hype in it that would make someone want to take a whole ass plane trip to be in the path of totality, that's a lot of money to spend on such a short-lived thing.
I was mowing the grass during the time of the eclipse. Being in the fringe of the eclipse. I missed it! Off and on clouds all day. Would have used a welding helmet if I had viewed it.
