What do you think of Iran launching Air Attack on Israel, how will it affect the world?

This was expected ever since Israel launched an attack on the Iranian embassy. It was just normal national power plays and if Israel is smart then it will just end with this.

To put it into layman terms. Israel started by attacking Irans embassy which means Iran is forced to respond. It decided to do this in a very visible but otherwise harmless way so that both sides can claim victory and stop. This strike is Irans offer to deescalate the situation and its up to Israel to decide if they want to take this offer or if they want to start a regional conflict over it.

The price of fuel will increase as the Iranians are likely to close or restrict the gulf to tanker traffic. Israel will attack Iran or at least targets it has not yet attacked. They have asked for a security council meeting, this is simply to some level of legitimacy to carry out attacks. It would be in everyone’s interest if this was calmed down and a full no fly zone put in place over Israel, Gaza, Syria, Iran, Yemen. Lebanon.
this does have the legs to escalate to full out war between Israel and Iran, which in turn will drag in other countries in the Middle East

it is not really surprising. but i hope Israel will not retaliate because this could lead to war on religion which wouldbe the deadliest war this world would witness. never underestimate Religion. it is better to have a war between different countries than religion

News reports that Iran's attack, retaliation for Israel's earlier attack on Iran's embassy in Syria, failed. Iran launched 300 drones and 99% of them were shot down. The US has told Israel it will not help a counterattack at Iran.

My guess is that Israel will not do anything more militarily, and the conflict will die down.

Any conflict anywhere in the world usually causes fear among stock markets, which will probably all show losses for tye next few days. Longer term, this should have little effect. Middle East conflicts like this have been going on for centuries.

We quite clearly have Axis Powers forming as in WW2 - Russia, China, and Iran.

Iran has acted through clients till now. It appeared to have signaled it's attack so no one got hurt but it is clearly part of the Russian attack on Ukraine in the weapons it is providing to them. In return it will be receiving help on nuclear weapons.

It is highly unlikely that Iran did not start up it's clients Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthi's at the request of Putin. It was no real change with the drone attack just a bit more obvious is all.

We all know what Putin is doing. We all know Xi is seeking to annex the South China Sea and eventually the countries surrounding it.

I think the effect of Iran launching an air attack is just making it clear WW3 has already been started by the new AXIS powers.

Israel will likely retaliate, and likely escalate, because that seems to be their dumbass policy.

So yeah, knowing the Biden Admin's foreign policy incompetence, this could mean war.
