Sad, not unexpected. Israel is a Jewish nation, and one of the basic Jewish tenets is "an eye for an eye". When Iran attacked Israel with 200 missiles a few weeks ago, they had to know that Israel would retaliate.

Let's hope this doesn't escalate into a regional war.
