Liberals are cowards that use groups of people to attack others, attack the elderly, rob stores in large groups, and support many criminals. The democrat liberal government tries to take away guns because they want to harm the citizens and mess over people just like in plenty of other countries, but liberals often don't know history so they deny that could happen. Many foreigners that come from those countries support the second amendment because they have already seen for themselves what happens after the citizens are disarmed.

It's as simple as that they will try to come up with any other excuse though.
Europeans don't have this sense because most of them have never held a gun in their life, meanwhile many Americans have.
I have actually held a few guns and know it's a sense that happens while holding one in our minds.

Most Americans don't get a gun out of shame that their country is so bad like they should be. They get a gun and gloat about it, like it's a cool badge to own one.

I'm pro gun because of the 2nd amendment. You liberal idiots know nothing of history and the importance of being able to protect yourselves from tyranny. Every single atrocious society that perpetuated mass violence unarmed the society first. Our founding fathers ensured that wouldn't happen. You liberals think you can change our written rights why exactly? You say school shootings when in reality the far majority is illegal guns in gang violence. You also say oh well they had muskets back then... A citizen could literally own a cannon and a warship. No, Republicans, in general (not universally), are pro-guns because basic Republican philosophy is that people should be able to take care of themselves, with government intervention only as required.

This contrasts with Democrat philosophy that people don't know how to take care of themselves, so government has to do it for them.

Well, interesting theory-I'm not sure where the gun fetish really originates- Republicans will insist it begins with the 2nd amendment and i guess that's fair-but I scratch my head with the pathological desire to pile up more and more and bigger and bigger firearms. Does America really need one deadly weapon for every man, woman, child and baby? And I say this as a girl who grew up in a hunting environment and went tagging along with dad when he deer hunted.

They are pro Constitution. That includes the 2nd amendment. Many Republicans and conservatives are gun owners. In a lot of areas in America , hunting is a cultural activity handed down from father to son. Some people are target shooter and there are people like me that can see the fabric of our civilization fall apart and bough firearms for protection. We realize that the cops cannot be everywhere at once and want to be able to protect our home and family.

If that is what you think then you have little real knowledge about them, but given your posted age I would not find that surprising, and if the Democrats really disliked firearms they would not have any be carried by their "protective details" but as we know they are hypocritical in the extreme.
