Why do most adults do drugs?

What do you consider "adult"?
I'm not sure it's true that older people do more drugs than younger people on average.

Lots of young people consume energy drinks. Those are drugs.
Some young people take party drugs like cocaine, ecstasy, herbal ecstasy, Rohypnol, GHB, Ketamine.
As many young people as older people drink alcohol. I fact, younger people are more prone to binge drinking just to get blitzed.
I'm not sure if more older people than younger people smoke tobacco. But younger people are probably more likely to vape than older people.
Some people of all ages smoke weed from time to time.

I experimented with drugs in high school and through my mid-20s. But I grew out of partying like a Viking.

People are addicted to dopamine and they're too tired and stressed out to do healthy things like running or other ways to exercise. So they turn to unhealthy ways to cope. And now it has become normalised. You're kind of weird if you have no vice. I think some people see me like that.

Because they can. Whether it’s coffee or soda or beer.. adults are allowed to do drugs and that alters their body temporarily.
