Why do people take (illegal, deadly) drugs?

I am watching a documentary Airport Security and a drug was found in one case. It was illegal and it destroys the health, brain and the whole body. Why do people take drugs that destroy their body?

There are drugs that are deadly and it is well no secret.

I am asking about 1. time up to the 1. or 2. week and not longtime consumption.

You are wrong. I never would have understood the sense of taking deadly drugs as crystal meth or heroine or cocaine and I would never had the money for those. People would see that you take drugs and lose respect. So I would never do. I am too scared of the consequences.

Just show them the pleasure the will do anything like sex , good , comedy , sleep etc

If you know it ruins your health and leads to pain and more pain, why don't the people take maybe alcohol? Which is bad in masses also but less bad than those drugs that exist. And after a while you see the consuming. You can't hide. It is a stigma then.
