It certainly makes sense. I'm pretty sure 2020 was the only time in my lifetime that a third party changed the outcome of an election. The Libertarian vote cost Trump three very important states. He doesn't want a repeat.
There have been other third party candidates who got far more votes than the Libertarian in 2020, but they didn't change the results.

Addressing them is good, and there's generally a great deal of overlap between Trump and the libertarians, at least in some subjects. Strategically, I assume he's trying to ensure that the libertarians don't become a spoiler for the election and take away votes from him like RFK and the communists are likely to do with Biden.

This is big! No presidential candidate that I know of has ever done this before! If anything he might win over some libertarian votes! Trump2024 MAGA 4 more years!
Well, libertarians these days are basically just pro-russia republicans. Which is basically what Trump already is so maybe 🤷♂️
If Trump is actually going to speak to Libertarians and answer questions it will be a disaster. Libertarians are generally very smart people and they won't be impressed by his incoherent word salad that goes over so well at Trumptard rallies.
I do and it may swing some Libertarian voters to vote for him.
I was a libertarian for a couple years when Obama ruined the Democrats. They may just be dumber then even Democrats. Don't waste your time. They are literally the dumbest parts of the Dems and the Reps
No. His followers are decidedly not libertarian. Although, some populists are pretty stupid, so they might not even notice. They almost certainly won’t think critically about it.
Listen to him and then tell me you still think he's ok.
He'll be as incoherent as always.
