Do You Believe That Trump Should Have Listened To The Many People Who Told Him That The Tariffs Is Going Be A Bad Idea For The American People?

Before Trump became president he was on TV programs pushing his great idea about putting tariffs on other countries that were going to be so high it would force companies to relocate their companies to relocate to America and avoid the tariffs?
I ordered some merchandise online before Trump slapped his tariffs on other countries and I paid for the merchandise, however, I am not receiving the merchandise I've paid for because tariffs went into effect right after I made my purchases.
I'm trying to make sense of it. Am I not getting my merchandise because now the companies that I bought from have to pay the tariffs which weren't included in the original price and they don't know what to do now?
What do you think is happening with this situation?
Will I just get ripped off because they aren't sending me the merchandise I already paid for?

Only third world countries implement tariffs without quota's the way Trump tried this year. All is quiet on the trade deal front because the world is diversifying away from the US. Canada exports to the US dropped but overall their exports are up almost 2% as trade with other trade partners increased. This is going on all around the world as countries diversify their trade, which is why there is no rush to deal with the US and Trump's unpredictability and instead focus on choosing stable partners.

The companies don't pay the tariffs the importers do and that's where the issue most American's who chose to vote for it refused to listen to the "experts" in favour of a blatant lie that wasn't checked by anyone from his majesty Sleepy Don. You're stuff may well be sitting in a port in US waiting to pass through customs once the "import taxes or tariffs" are paid and that could mean you won't get them or will get a notification from the customs and excise for an extra fee to pay off the tariff.

He has already secured over 10 trillion dollars of outside investment in building facilities in the US. A lot of this can be attributed to these tariffs. The treasury has already collected 7 billion dollars in tariffs. Foreign countries are lining up to make more favorable trade deals. The stock market has rebounded and inflation continues to go. All the doom and gloom the fake news is pushing never really materialized.
If you re not getting merchandise that you paid for you should contact your credit card company and put a stop on the charge.

Trump's favor percentage has dropped down to 33% by some groups of people.
They said it is due to campaign promises they aren't being kept and the unstable economy.
I used to have Trump's picture in a nice wooden 8 x 10 frame and was all for him. But I have since then I have taken down him picture.
He's allowing or I should say going after money in my state by cutting ✂️ Medicaid, SNAP benefits (food help) and taking away caregivers who take care of the disabled people in my State. He's doing this to cut down the deficit and all the while building America a Golden Dome! Asshole!!

Trump is keeping his promises. Having his hands tied by the courts are interfering with the process. In the new Tax bill there is some language in it that will basically cut the legs off these judges and then you will see deportations by the million. Inflation has been steadily going down ever since he took office. Thr price of gas has gone down over a dollar a gallon in 4 months.
Trillions in new investments will crated thousands of good paying construction jobs and then thousands of good paying permanent jobs.
He is rebuilding the military which was decimated during the biden regime. The golden dome will pay dividends when foreign adversaries are neutralized. China has already been concerned about this.
He is working to get the US out of Ukraine. Either Putin and Zelensky sign a peace treaty the US is prepared to walk away from the whole thing and let the EU pick up the tab , or not.
The only medicaid getting cut is for illegal aliens and dead people which is quite a bit of money for states like California and New York but taxpayers should not be payin gfor healthcare for these freeloaders.

You didn't mention one thing about him allowing to do away with the IHSS program which is through Medicaid and leaving disabled people and the elderly who can no longer care for themselves all alone and suffering and more than likely going to be ignored and die from not getting the help they require and need to stay alive.
I am on the IHSS program and have a caregiver who I depend on for my life!! Without a caregiver I cannot function and then what is going to happen to me? Huh? Are YOU going to care for me and make sure I have food, clean clothes and my prescriptions?
I could give a flying flip about all of the things that you mentioned because they don't affect me directly.
But leaving me to fend all alone in the world without any help is cruelty in its highest form!

So far it has not happened, Inflation continues to go down. There are companies that have advertised that their prices will not go up. I expect that companies like WalMart who plan on disclosing how much their prices will rise because of tariffs in favor of companies like Target and Home Depot have already come out and said they will not increase their prices.
