Are they going to help any Americans? Inflation helps no one. His tariffs have virtually eliminated international travel to the US. He's eliminated trade between Canada, Mexico and China which account for 40% of all US exports. He's overplayed his hand and lost all his leverage. The UK agreement is far from completed and is so small it's not even newsworthy but that's the best he could come up with. Countries have already said that they are waiting this out betting on his miscalculation will lead to a recession and Democrat majority in the House and Senate making DJT a lame duck president.

Yes, it will result in better trade agreements with other countries so there will be more exports. Also it will result in trillions of investment dollars to build new facilities for industry based in the US which will create more jobs. Also the government will take in additional billions of dollars to help balance the budget.
