Out of all of years since the end of World War II (1945), we as people will always look back at certain moments in history of when the world was going through so many changes. Whether it’s a good or bad. The 1980s and the Y2K era (Late 90s-2001) are the only times where everyone looks back on and everybody saying nothing but positive things about those years respectively.
But which era was the most optimistic period? The 1980s? Or the Y2K era?
In my opinion, the Y2K era. The 80s was still in a Cold War era. The crimes were getting worse towards the end of 1980s/start of the 1990s. Whereas the Y2K era was so optimistic. Cold War era was over, crime rate was going downward. Everybody was excited (and nervous) about the new millennium etc…
