1 yBecause there's no gender quota for women there and it's purely based on how Americans vote. Not voting for a female candidate is not Sexist , sorry gender card doesn't always work

Our permanent and elected governments are still a good ol' boy's club.
Neither political party will allow anyone who isn't part of the club to be nominated. Look at how the Democratic party sandbagged Tulsi Gabbard. Instead, they tried to elect Hillary and we came within a hair's breadth of having a cackling, female, megalomaniacal, mass murdering psychopath in the White House.
Our system doesn't allow the electorate to vote for the best and brightest. The powers that be prop up two hand-picked puppets and tell us we have a choice. Voting is a farce.
But a majority of citizens voted for gay black man for president... twice. And a lot of people voted for Killary. So there is no reason why people won't vote for a woman eventually.
I, personally, don't care about gender. I'd vote for a woman. I'd just like to have someone in office who cared about the best interests of America and its citizens rather than the will of the New World Order globalist elites.20 Reply- 5.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yAs is usually the case with complex phenomena, there are multiple reasons, but the primary one is this: most women aren't well-suited to it. There's a very good reason why the more difficult, dangerous, or demanding a job is, the higher the percentage of people doing it will be male; women tend to self-select themselves out of the pool. Are there exceptions? Of course- but they're never going to be the majority unless it's artificially forced.
This is the way we evolved, and it's also why most people working insane hours are male- women tend to seek better work-life balance. Take a look at portraits or photographs of people entering the White House and them leaving it; the job ages you terribly. Most women wouldn't want that even if they weren't judged so harshly for their looks.
The secondary reason is that people are consciously AND otherwise, familiar with humans; we know, even if not all of us will openly admit, that most of the people who'd make good Presidents are male, and so are less likely to vote for a woman. Again, there are exceptions- sheer numbers means there's plenty of women out there who'd make for fine Presidents- but they're a distinct minority among women.

1 yWomen aren't good leaders they very very rarely have been. Historically the only matriarchal societies were either overthrown by outside forces or collapsed. In most parts of history women leading nearly always ended poorly. A leader has to be objective, realistic, logical, rational. All things women typically are not. Don't get me wrong it is good that they aren't but that is the reality. Before anyone comes whining at me. I have already formulated this entire post with exceptions in mind so don't waste everyone's time trying to bring up the random queen of England who did so many good things blah blah blah. Consider the exception acknowledged and dismissed because it is not relevant when we are considering generalizations

Nope because when a family member had pain the stupid female kept saying wait for the dr I asked the male nurse could he administer something while the dr do his rounds he gave her a powerful
Pain killer she went to sleep
Woke up when dr finally came around and had some relief needless to say the next day she met with a male surgeon who told her the female dr should have called one of the specialist not to allow a patient to duffer we reported her to the professional license she was suspended not sure if she is allowed to
Practice medicine the nurses females be having attitudes jealous too so NOPE I LIKE MY MALES EVEN IN MED CARE~ - 1 y

Because you are a male. They should be nice to female patients too but they are too busy being jealous. I had one kept staring at me asking me are u coming from ek 100X I finally told her I dress nice and I’m coming from home. Then she kept asking me about my perfume I said it’s Cristalle by Chanel. I ask for pain meds she kept saying wait for the dr meanwhile the nurse can administer pain killer she didn’t care that I was suffering. Same like my family a make nurse gave her pain meds until the dr evaluated her. Women in the medical field suck! I have all male dr they are smarter and have good bedside manner. I reported sever to the office of professional discipline~
1 y1) What good female candidates have we ever got? Hillary Clinton? Nikki Haley?
2) Like it or not, still a lot of American men and women believe in traditional gender roles , so neither of them are fans of women in positions of power. You can call it sexist but they don't care
3) Being the President of the most powerful nation in the world takes Balls, sometimes literally
30 Reply5.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. There's only been 45 presidents.
Women couldn't vote until 1920. This would have been the 29th president.
We would probability wise need something closer to 50/50 ratio of both the senate and house male to female. Currently it's like 25% senate and 30% house who are female.
20 ReplyWell unless something bad happened, a president is in office at least four years and often eight years so there have not been that big a number of presidents since 1980 or whenever it would have been realistically possible. I am not really into politics, I think women should be able to be president but I wouldn’t vote for a woman just because she is a woman and I am not anxious to see a female president necessarily. JMO!

Anonymous(36-45)1 yWomen in general don't tend to be as interested in leadership or competitive as men. So the odds of one of them making it to the top are not great.
Add to that there have only been 46 presidents soo far, most of them in a time when even fewer women would have tried.
Odds are unfortunately the first female president like the first black president will be an DEI hire like Kamala , which will only undermine the idea for the future.20 Reply- 5.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yThat's not technically correct. When Biden had his colonoscopy, VP Kamala Harris wa President, though only for a few hours.🙄
The US has never had an elected female President because, deep down, most Americans have conservative Puritan beliefs... men lead and women nurture.
Could also be that women are generally not power hungry, and smart enough to not want a difficult thankless job. 😉

1 ythose presented weren't very good options.
Geraldine Ferraro?
Hillary Clinton
We will get one. Her name may rhyme with Flamila. Lets hope not.
In our lifetimes, we'll get one... if we don't blow up the world first.
20 Reply 1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Most are terrible leaders and most vote for things that harm the USA. The only one I would seriously consider would be Lauren Bobert, but the majority of women are very liberal and wouldn't want her.

Candace Owen's would be a decent choice as well but she has no aspirations to be president.
Anonymous(18-24)1 yNot enough corporate CEO women or higher up women who are closely connected with them. PAC contributions run elections, it's all about $, and that money comes from those Fortune 500 companies. That's why an independent party can't get elected either. The extremes of both sides are closely connected to virtually all of the national wealth, and they use it to basically freeze out the potential competition.

1 yA female is easier to vilify with smear campaigns cause her absorbent intellectual nature and expressive concealment makes her easily associated with failure and moral frailty.
20 Reply 5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. We haven't had any good female candidates for starters. The only time we may have had an exception, she ingratiated herself with the wrong people and alienated the voting base.

30 Reply2.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I reckon women are on average not as much interested getting into power.
Getting in power requires dedication, effort, connections and lots and lots of money at the bare minimum.
20 Reply2.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. First off Hillary Clinton was a huge lair so a big no for her. Secondly, even my wife wouldn’t vote for a woman because she doesn’t believe they can make the hard decisions.

1 yFor the same reasons it’s mostly men doing really difficult work. Most women have no desire to be in such a position. The feminists will say It’s because of misogyny, But that is not factual based.
