Which of these military leaders was the best?

Probably Genghis Khan. by the way I always thought he looked like an Asian Pillsbury Doughboy in that painting 😂
My favourite isn’t on the list. Churchill but I’d say Alexander the Great from this list
Churchill? Even after Galipolli?
but he was not a military leader. He didn't draw up battle plans or lead men into battle in WWII, and Galippoli almost cost him his political career is was such a disaster.
one could argue FDR was a better leader then. Dunkirk was a disaster too. The fact the British army had been routed and literally driven into the sea.
In his youth Churchill kicked ass and took names in the Boer Wars
@DrPepper12 Britain stood alone before the US joined the war and also had to deal with the blitz too, so Churchill also had to lead deal with the issue on the home front too as well as the battle fields of Europe and further afield
but he did not draw up battle plans or lead men into battle. Yes, he was inspirational as a political leader, but left much to be desired as a military leader.
Temujin!!!

Stalin
Stalin did not have much experience leading men into battle or formulating battle plans.
But Caesar was slain by Cassius and Brutus.
@handsomelad70 not in battle because they were better commanders. Stonewall Jackson was shot by his own troops, but I don't think that's because he was a bad general.
You learn something every day. Thanks much for the Caesar info, OtterMan68.
