Tell me about it, the NHS and councils have spent ridiculous amounts of money and time coming up with documents on gender neutral language and inclusive language at a time when resources for both are stretched and services are being cut.

We are also seeing thousands being spent painting zebra crossings rainbow colours for the LGBT community as well as painting police cars rainbow and having officers dressing up for Pride parades.

We are changing street names and names of pubs and buildings because they are 'racist' and on food names the BLM want Thatchers cider changed because he was supposed to have used slaves and some feminist wanted Daddys brown sauce changed because it was sexist to women.

We had to have a woman, a black guy and a gay guy on the banknotes and statues put up of them. All a waste of money at times when we cannot afford to waste money. we are being led by a bunch of do gooding privileged university graduates, many with a chip on their shoulder

Well, ever since Pepsi bought out Aunt J, it's just become a downward spiral.

I never did like Pepsi, and we're buy generic syrup, so it doesn't really effect us. Sadly, I'm kind of stuck with Quaker and the Rice-a-Roni line, both owned by PCo.

Mars didn't make anywhere near a fuss of changing Uncle Ben to Ben's Original (ironic since it is no longer "original" but rewoked with DEI crap). Again, generic rice is fine, and I do our own seasoning much of the time. We will- every so often- get Knorr packets of this or that and defer to Unilever, but most of the time I will flavor our own pasts as well.

I don't really like all the political correctness stuff. My sister is a teacher in Texas and she was told she couldn't teach The Civil War. She was told it might offend some of her black students (she didn't have any), some of her white students (all of her students were latino). Obviously she left that school to find one that would let her teach history. I get not being racist, but it's going too far, to the point where it seems more racist than if we just let them stay the way they are. Everyone knows Lady A is Lady Antebellum and everyone knows The Chicks are The Dixie Chicks (who were named after a song).

Take me for example, the whole idea of reparations is insane and they should stop shouting about it. The whole idea of males competing athletically against females just because they say they're trans is just as stupid. You compete in the gender you're born into. Some of them need to get their head out of their ass and actually read report or drudge or watch Fox News just so they can have some idea as to what other Americans are thinking.. They also better get in the habit of saying that the green goals that they have are aspirational not directly implemented into policy. The economy needs time to transition.. they'd better acknowledge that immigration and inflation are real issues and they need to be discussed not obfuscated or ignored. They need to stop the bleeding heart liberalism and solve it from an economic perspective by going after the employers not the migrants. Same thing for inflation, don't pretend it's not there! It is there but it needs to be properly explained that following a pandemic inflation is guaranteed. I sure as the sun will rise, inflation follows a pandemic. Any student of history would know that. Oh yeah, something else the intraparty warfare over Israel? Take it behind closed doors and don't make yourself a target but the extreme left just can't help themselves.
