Very much so. Pandemic plans were already in place- and promptly ignored. Knowledge of disease transmissability and lethality (in general) were well-established- and promptly ignored. Died within a month of a diagnosis? Then that disease is what you died of! Since that "within a month" includes autopsy diagnosis, and assuming a routine dental check is used for identity verification, that means that everyone who's died in the last, oh, five thousand years or so died of tooth decay, since every human has it.
See how stupid it sounds?
Centuries worth of scientific and political progress (freedom of assembly, anyone?) were shoved aside by the weight of sheer terror, and over a disease that has just over half the lethality of chicken pox. And a grand total of ONE Covid governor has been voted out of office. ONE. The people who did far more than Trump or Biden to damage the economy, and most people looked on and said "Yeah, that's fine; give us more of that".
This is to say nothing of "vaccines" that aren't vaccines (I could give a pass if they just had a different mechanism, but the shots don't DO what vaccines are supposed to do, either), and were granted an emergency authorization with NO long-term (and not even much short-term) testing, establishing the precedent of "rules don't matter if you're sufficiently frightened", which would be incredibly dangerous even if mRNA injections didn't have a terrible history of killing their animal test subjects. (Please note that I'm not saying these shots are a deliberate attempt to kill people; obviously the vast majority of recipients have minor or no side effects. But the incidents of serious, and sometimes lethal, side effects are WAY higher than they are for Covid itself, and the less immediate but ultimate bigger issue of medical and social irresponsibility is what I'm commenting on here. It's gross negligence I'm decrying, not a conspiracy to murder or sterilize.) That was the FDA rather than the CDC, though.
No, it did not. Although the right wing would like you to believe this. The right-wing response to covid-19 is something that should have destroyed the right wing to a large degree since that response was responsible for causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.
I don't blame them. It was the first pandemic since the Spanish Flu over 100 years ago. It'd be silly to think that anyone could accurately predict how something like that would affect the world. And the previous one was much smaller and in a very different world.
It wasn't their lack of prediction it was their constant BULLSHIT, that caused Americans to lose confidence. Even my doctor said most masks don't do shit against Covid as the molecule is too small. People wearing masks alone while driving or walking outside? Give me a fucking break! Lockdowns? NEVER AGAIN.
I wonder why Fauci refuses to tell us how much money the drug companies gave him. And from the very beginning, Fauci said the Corona virus couldn't have come from the Corona virus lab he was secretly funding. Hmm. The whole thing was a scam.

Oh yeah... I'd give a bunch of reasons but people already know them or they deny it and get all their info from CNN.
For me though, they say something and I don't believe a fucking word.
yes, to some extent. They did blatantly lie about masks early on to prevent a shortage, and they did speak in definites despite not knowing everything.
If someone from the CDC said "Good morning" to me, I wouldn't believe it.
What COVID did is make the majority of people aware that there is a CDC.
Ciovid completely destroyed trust in the CDC. The CDC was already on shaky ground with other woke policies but covid really ended trust in the CDC.
Exactly.
Why would they? Lemme guess it's a globalist conspiracy led by Obama and soris? Am I warm?
Yes, and the World Health Organization will be even worse, if we hand over our medical sovereignty to them
Cdc was only ever trusted by morons

I agree.
