Are nude beaches only found in Conservative US red states?

I may have heard wrong, but some Conservative Americans told me that nudity is illegal and frowned upon in liberal places like Europe, Quebec and in American blue states. And it's tolerated and embraced in conservative places like Australia, New Zealand, English Canada, and in American red states.

They also tell me that the Puritans were liberal, and Evangelical Christians are Democrats.

Their words not mine. I'm liberal and I don't exactly agree.

Also if you have ever been to the Pacific Ocean you would see the water is COLD. Also the beaches are often rocky and hard sand. Not exactly comfortable for being naked for most months of the year.

And not too many guys are gung ho about jumping in cold water naked in front of everyone. Simple biology doesn’t exactly make it a great look. Just saying.

I have no clue but here's just a thought in our liberal European way most girls here are half naked or have ya know something revealing on so that could factor into why nobody feels the need for that extra nudity.

I have only seen one nudes beach in this country and it was in Oregon and had nothing but naked dudes. Wouldn't recommend.
