Are nudist beaches for everyone or just for adults?

I’m going on holiday with my boyfriend and there’s a nudist beach next to the family beach, I don’t really want tan lines so I want to go to the nude beach with my boyfriend but my parents say I can’t go there. I’m 16 so there shouldn’t be a problem, but is it fair they say I can’t? I thought it was for everyone that’s comfortable to be naked.

Well they are for everyone, even families go and hang around naked there. It's very acceptable. Anyone can go it's a very open kinda thing and it's very understandable for u to tan there topless/naked. I go with my girlfriend a lot. Be prepared to be looked at, be prepare to enjoy freedom and not care for a thing.. And I bet u can go a little farther and get away from ur family's bullshit and enjoy earth as u were born to

I have no issue being looked at, my boyfriend would be there. I just want to be able to relax and tan without annoying tan lines when I get home. I’d love to be able to walk free as well, very liberating

It is VERY liberating and a lot of fun especially with a boyfriend. I was in two just like that in Hawaii, like near a family beach there were nude beaches as well. Where is this one?

I’ve been to a nude beach so I don’t think it’s only for adults. As far as your parents saying no, did you ask them why? Also how will they know if you go or not?

As a parent it would bother me of course. But if it's something you want to do and experience I don't think I could totally be against it. At some point you're gonna do it anyways. Sometimes as parents we forgot how we were growing up. It sounds safe and it's just some nudity and if your comfortable with it I say go for it

I was on many nude beaches as a kid with my family. There's a few places that don't allow under 18, but most public beaches have no restrictions on age.

Whether it would be legal depends on the laws where the beaches are. But I doubt that anyone would be checking the age of a 16 year old. But with your parents there, I guess you can’t go there.

All the nudist beaches are know are for all ages. It shouldn't be a problem except for your parents saying no. You say in another comment they will be there with you the whole time? Maybe you might have to wait a couple years then.

I get that. But you'll be nude with your boyfriend. Being on a designated beach does nothing to change that your boyfriend will be seeing you nude and your parents are probably very unsure about that situation.

Yes, they should be for everyone. They are kinda off putting the first time you go but after you've been there for a couple of hours it gets to feel quite normal.
