If the "west" is so evil, then why are people in the "evil west" enjoying a much higher quality of life?

I don't intend this to be political topic/debate. If you make it political, don't bother posting.

Why is it, that people in the "evil west" on average live so much better in terms of quality of life than anywhere else? Refer to the pictures below to see what I mean. I am aware, that exceptions exist too but that's why they're called exceptions, not on average.

I speak from experience. When I was dragged to the region from which people are fleeing from I "lived" in terrible conditions (hunger, poverty, sicknesses and medical conditions, the first kind of "dormitory apartment" was infested with cockroaches and bedbugs). Nevermind social isolation.

I managed my way back to Germany no sooner than 12 years later and enjoy living pretty well. I can also choose to become a Kathoey if I want to.

It doesn't matter. The leaders of the western world have decided that their own citizens are the enemy and are waging war on us. The things you think are valuable won't matter in the near future because the entire society as you know it will collapse. You are like the rich person on the Titanic bragging about how nice your stateroom is while the ship is taking on water. You're going to be fighting for room in a lifeboat sooner than you think.

@DrPepper12 Too late to stop it because the momentum of cultural changes is great and the people really running things are in a position to cause any number of disasters (EMP attacks, terrorist attacks, nuclear war, bioweapons attacks) that will distract most suckers and make them think there's an outside threat that is more important than the internal threats. I'm focused more on being prepared for what comes during/after than trying to stop it. The people who think they can stop it go on and on about voting. As if people haven't been voting for decades.

The thing is that this metaphoric Titanic ship hasn't sunk yet since i was born.
Meanwhile the east has already begun several wars involving hundreds of thousands of deaths if not already several millions combined.

@Unit1 Bet case scenario, the leaders of the US & other western nations are incompetent, yet angelic saints who only want the best for you. These fools will get you killed even if they aren't trying to. Worst case they are actively trying to kill you to reduce population. Because they can. Don't be a sucker. One day there will be massive EMP attacks or hacker caused power outages. How will you deal with it? Think ahead about that and plan for it instead of sitting around assuming it won't happen. Like wise for things like food shortages, fuel shortages. Then you won't find yourself in the same situation (or worse) as the suckers who listened to the government during Hurricane Katrina

Insisting that outsiders have poor living conditions is a basic propaganda tactic. It tells your own people that the outsiders have incentive to come and take your stuff, that the outsiders are poorly governed, and that the outsiders are of such low subhuman dignity that they can stand to live in such squalor without complaint. All of this adds up to being told told to fear the outsiders and that only a strongman leader can protect you.
