Why don’t Americans clean up New York City if it’s the biggest American city?

New York City is very messed up. A spot for people with anti social behaviors like addiction. Why doesn’t the city clean it up if it’s such a staple of America?

Nobody cares about NYC except people who live there. Well, maybe a few other people care, but not many.

NYC is the biggest city in the US, but it's still a very tiny part of the country. It's just a dot out on the very edge of the map.

It's also not as bad as the media makes it out to be. I don't like it just because I don't like big cities. But it's really not that bad. Many/most people who live there love it.

That's true.

It's true of almost every state and country. Just a few large cities control the vote and politics. They pass laws that make no sense out in the countryside.
