No, the idea that we get “one day” to take out everything raging or murderous is stupid. For one thing, that’s not how rage works, or feelings in general. For another, as much as I would love to legally steal millions of dollars that my bank doesn’t have to put into my account, I’m not going to support a living horror movie in reality. I don’t think any sane person would, not for real.

No. I actually like the direction that the franchise took the overall story arc on this concept. It ended up exactly the way it would in real life. The super wealthy paying groups of mercenaries to murder their political and economic rivals.
There are lots of ways to manage stress that are better than waiting for a government holiday to murder the person who cut you off in traffic or refuses to honor your expired coupons. If you really feel that helpless and weak, join a martial arts gym. You can thank me later.

The Purge movie like scenario?

No, absolutely not.

I have watched that movie and I cannot imagine such a scenario in real life. I mean according to the movie the concept is 364 days in the year will be 100% crime free but that 1 day will be even worse than hell itself. I cannot imagine where ever imaginable or unimaginable crime will be legal with no consequences whatsoever.

Instead the current real life scenario is much better as compared to the movie scenario where the crime exists but is controlled by law enforcing authorities.
