Purge in the movies means anything is legal during one time during the entire year. So basically anything you could ever imagine doing won't count against you however the following day the law comes back into effect.

What proof can you provide? Whatever you stole during purge is legal. Next day is illegal. So if you were to steal a car or money or whatever you'd want to sure it can't be traced back to you the following day. If you provide proof that you stole something the next day you'd be arrested. That's why you have to be careful of what you do during purge. That way whatever happens you leave no breadcrumbs

So will the people who murdered someone on purge day get prosecuted as well? It's not like the consequences of their actions have ceased anymore than the sack of money under the porch.

If you kill someome than dead men tell no tales. If they can't provide evidence someome killed someome sure, but think of how many people are doing stuff like that during purge? Theft and murder would be high chance of you being caught would be less likely if more people are doing it. Yeah basically a 24 or head start. Cause the next day anything legal is back to illegal.

Take my kids away from them and report any relatives that would harm my children, i would talk to him asking if what was said true, file for a restraining order, make sure they are on the sex offenders watch list. I wouldn't become a murderer though.

See right there, you're better than my family. My abuser was believed over me, and left him in charge of me almost daily for 18 solid years of fear. And when my ex assaulted me and nearly murdered me, I got blamed and mocked. That's why if given a legal chance to kill em, I would.

The damage is sadly permanent, at least psychologically speaking. Therapy and meds help a bit but that's about it. Thank you.

It's not permanent damage however. Any addicts can recover from being an addict. Everyone is capable of overcoming any challenge in life. Meds don't work. Time and healing works for all. People with ptsd don't stay like that they get help sp that any trauma that may happen won't affect them. You can overcome bad experiences they don't need to haunt you unless you hang on to it
