Identity politics are the worst influence in politics, do you agree?

I really hate the idea of assigning moral superiority or inferiority to how you vote, and that influence us the loudest in the country, it seems. What do you think?

Sure. But not much you can do about it because if the topic was exclusively about policy, either democrats would control 95% of the government or Republicans would have to undergo a massive overhaul to shed their practice of 100% reliance on identity politics to distract from their unpopular policies.

Honestly, if republicans were actually conservative they wouldn’t be all that different from democrats, which I would call center-right these days. Modern republicans just seem to be full on alt right

I would say the worst thing in our political system is two parties, corruption, lobbyist groups swaying politicians’ agendas, partisanship, and a complete disregard for checks & balances as they pertain to the Chief Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States of America also identity politics as a whole.
