Why is the homeless problem so bad in New York City?

Gov Abbott has sent hundreds of busloads of illegal aliens to NYC. It was easy for all these liberal democrat mayors and governors to say that they were an sanctuary state when they are1500 miles from the border. Abbott sent them to democrat cities and states by the tens of thousand. Dropping them off on Times Square and going beck to Texas to fill it up with another load of thm. Mayor Adams has waved the white flag along time ago but Abbott is sending them as fast as possible. Let them share the wealth

That’s what you get when 9-11 million (homeless people) come across our southern border. They go to the sanctuary cities where they think they are welcomed.

Homelessness is bad everywhere in North America... this is not just a NYC thing. Even smaller communities now have problems. Too many people have fallen through the cracks (many with mental illness) and the price of housing sure has not helped.
