Why do men keep asking me if I am married all the time?

I have social media and I basically feel like I am being bullied by men who message me just to ask if I am married or not and nothing else. I am thinking of revamping my entire wardrobe so that I will give off a completely different vibe. I DO NOT want to get married. I am NOT wife material and do not aspire to be. I do not live like someone who wants to be married with children and do not move or act like one. I prefer to be a free spirit. It could be my feminine and modest dress style that gives off the "married lady vibes". I was thinking of changing my wardrobe and dressing like a Goth. But a lot of the Goth clothes for women appeal to the male gaze and look like what I already wear just with a goth appeal to it if that makes any sense. I also got piercings in my face to try to ward off the "I wanna be married" vibe. I hate the adult stage of life. I literally think most adults suck. All they talk about is marriage and children and its so got damn boring and tired to me

Get to the core of it. Why does it possibly worry you? Because you are young and of that age? Wear what you want , it won't make any difference , and put your settings to " single " or " married " whatever you want , so therefore you will not get asked.

Put in the preliminary part of your profile " I will NEVER be married , and do not wish to be " otherwise just answer the question , or limit who can contact you , that's what social media is all about.

But , for Fcks sake , don't become a goth for this reason , that's ludicrous.

The question ANGERS me because I am NOT a wife, nor do I act like one or look like one. I want people to stay the fuck out of my uterus. It's also ageist as fuck to ask that question. There is so much more to me than my marital status. It makes me want to punch people in the face when they ask me that question. It's not every woman's life goal to be married to a man. I don't think you're gonna stop hearing that question no matter what you wear. It's just a common question for both men and women to be asked, I get asked if I'm married or have kids all the time.

I don't get asked if I have children but they do slide in my DMs asking if I'm married and frankly its annoying and I curse them out. I HATE the question and feel offended to even being asked.
