Why do some indians look like this?

Compared to 95% of the Indians I have met and interacted with, whether they are international students in the US or locals in India when I visited the country, none of them look like this.

Only a handful were lighter and looked closer to how she looks.

Why is this so?

Indians are Indo-Aryan (I mean the real ancient Aryans, not the Hitler bs), there's a few people who look like that.

I have friends from Northern India and although it's not the most common look it's not super rare either.

Anyway she's just one of many bollywood actresses praised for her beauty. If you Indians themselves, a lot of them will name Deepika Padukone as the the most beautiful Indian actress, some like Katrina Kaif or Alia Bhatt.

Different countries have different looking people , most Indians have a darker shade

Most Indians you have met are from Bombay and Delhi. India is 2,000 miles long and 1½ billion people of many races and religions.

Not just Bombay and Delhi but many Gujarati, bengalis and south indians
Only ones who looked closer to her were some sections of Punjabi or from mountains
