As far as Congressional reps go, it's a rather general affirmation that goes something like this: “I, Marjorie Taylor Greene. do solemnly swear or affirm (as the case may be) that I will support the Constitution of the United States.”
So when you are actively involved in plots to circumvent the Constitution and the peaceful transfer of power, and to prevent the certification of said election with no proof of foul play, you've broken your oath. Same thing goes for the President. It should trigger an immediate hearing to see if you get removed from office. Obviously, it's not quite that simple.
No politician takes an oath seriously.

I thought that said "Shouldn't all elected politicians be 24/7 burnt to death" ... and the answer is yes. Yes they should be burnt to death.
Then they could be found guilty for perjury simply for saying "no honey your ass doesn't look fat in that" or the like if it could be proven they lied.
I dislike most politicians but they have to work under reasonable conditions with proper incentivea.
Yes. Hell yes. And:
Ban financially donating to politicians
Ban inside trading
Require bodycams on politicians except when they're at home or in the bathroom.
I'd say if they are at a committee meeting or on the floor of the legislature, then yes. I hate watching politicians grill people who are under oath. The politicians can lie their butts off with impunity knowing they can while accusing the witnesses of perjury.
If you did that, the entire political crowd would be in jail. Personally I think its worth a shot...
Simples...
well considering who decides what law changes will be written into law, that's probably the least likely result that politics will ever produce.
Yes and then we can put all politicians in jail. Im in the UK and politicians use clever trickery to get around not lying. You never get a Yes or NO answer to anything from a politician.
I like your thinking! It would give tremendous advantage to people who haven't been elected yet, though, if they can freely lie.
Sounds good to me but it will be selectively enforced.
Yes but the law must be applied equally among the candidates.
it's easy to swear when you work for satan
Trump would not last 1 minute with this
Good luck with that!
