Is Freud one of the greatest swindlers in existence?

Freud caved to public opinion, as most would when facing an overwhelming force of people. Originally when interviewing women to try and understand their minds he heard so many horrible stories of their fathers abusing them sexually or physically. He put that information in his published psychology journals, I don’t know if he named names or not but so many men with guilty minds for doing these exact horrific things told him he was a liar, accusing them baselessly, and eventually he caved to the pressure and retracted those journals and rewrote them to say instead that all daughters were sexually attracted to their fathers and sons to their mothers to have it still make sense in a psychological way but obviously all of his theories have been disproven. The main thing Freud gave us was the evidence of the conscious and the subconscious and that’s really the only thing relative to modern psychology now. If anything, he’s one of history’s biggest, sexist cowards.
For his time he proposed a lot of ideas and theories that fell in line so to speak with society in that era. It truly is one of those cases of majority of his ideas not holding up in modern psychology. Now he's taught as just a historical figure as opposed to a clinical one for the most part.
Freud was very adept at creating stories to try and explain things that were complicated to understand, or had no apparent and satisfying explanation. Dianetics and Scientology attempt to do the same thing but are widely rejected by medical and scientific establishments. Ironically, the lack of evidence based psychological practitioners adhering to Freud likewise reject the lack of evidence based tenets of Scientology. LOL
Possibly though he did say his pyscho analysis would have to do till more organic treatments were found. I do think 'talking therapy' is worthless and could be seen as a swindle.

No, he didn't need to swindle. He made millions when he formed Pink Freud and released "Dark Side of the Mind" in 1973.
I would like to know how you come to that conclusion, he was a neurologist wasn't he and the founder of psychoanalysis. Where are you getting this information that he was a swindler from.
You think he was a swindler? How did he swindle people?
That prize goes to Volkmar Sigusch.
No he was not
