What do you think of Laurene Powell Jobs not leaving anything to her children though she inherited from her husband?

Laurene Powell Jobs the widow of Steve Jobs is known for her charity work but also her extravagant lifestyle. She recently spent 94 million on a house in Malibu. She has recently announced she doesn't plan on leaving any money to her and Steve's children. It is important to note:

1. She wasn't wealthy when she married Jobs.

2. He was wealthy already when he met her so it can't be said that she was his helper when he made his money.

This is of course legal (in some European countries it is illegal for parents to disinherit their children but not in the US), but is it ethical?

I don’t know if she is religious but the bible says pleasure without merit or virtue or God leads to suffering. If you Google celebrity children with millions of unearned luxuries, the suicide rate is over 10%, many times higher than other groups in society. Those that do not kill themselves might struggle with anorexia like Nicole Ritchie / Tyra Banks, or battery by a boyfriend or husband like Christine Quinn / Jennifer Hudson. Or they might have extreme loneliness like Sidney Porter. I know somebody who spent a week at his house, his wife never talked to him. I’m not even sure he had her phone number and his kids only talked to him when they wanted money. He did not have a single friend, even though he was rich.

She could leave some money. It's important for them to work to earn their money, but leaving nothing is a bit mean.
