Teen Kills Ex-Girlfriend's Mom in Horrific Act of Revenge

MIAMI, FLORIDA - A 16-year-old teenager from Florida has been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing the mother of his ex-girlfriend. According to reports, the incident took place on Thursday, June 27, when the suspect shot 38-year-old Eulalia Gonzalez in the head while she was holding her infant daughter on the front porch of her home. The victim was rushed to Jackson South Medical Center but was pronounced dead shortly after.

Police investigations suggest that Gonzalez's daughter had ended her nine-month-long relationship with the suspect approximately two months before the tragic incident. During the relationship, the suspect allegedly communicated with the victim and issued threats to her daughter, stating that she could not be with anyone else if she was not with him.

Law enforcement was able to apprehend the suspect after obtaining a search warrant for his residence. During questioning, the teenager reportedly confessed to using a ride-share app to travel to and flee the crime scene. He allegedly admitted that the murder was part of his plan to seek revenge against his ex-girlfriend's family for ending their relationship.

Upon entering the apartment, the police discovered a horrifying scene. The young man was holding his father in a headlock over the kitchen sink, threatening him with a knife. Despite repeated commands in both English and Spanish to drop the weapon, the man refused to comply. In response, an officer fired a single shot, hitting the assailant and saving the father’s life.

Seeing more headlines doesn't mean it's actually happening more often. The actual numbers show that these kind of things happen far less than they did in the past.

News organizations make money on this stuff. The more they report this kind of thing the more money they make. With a growing population, and ever increasing area of coverage, this stuff appears to be far more common than it actually is.

When they gather up all the worst that happens from a population of millions or even billions, of course there will be things like this. The news fails to mention the other millions or billions who lead boring lives as far as the news is concerned.

Yellow journalism is supposed to be a thing of the past. But we never got away from it. Sensationalism and yanking your emotions around is how they do business. They are using you.

Actually the world is as peaceful as it has ever been. Back in the day wakes would last 3 days because you wanted to make sure Dad or Grandpa laying on the table were drunk instead of dead.
