Over 100 individuals affiliated with the white supremacist group Patriot Front marched through downtown Nashville yesterday, making a pronounced statement with Confederate flags and masked figures wielding shields. The Tennessee Democratic Party, alongside state and local leaders, vehemently condemned the march, labelling the display as an expression of hatred and a deliberate instigation of terror among the community. While participants professed to "Reclaim America," their actions suggested otherwise, coming into sharp contrast with the nation's Independence Day celebrations just days prior.

The Tennessee Democratic Party wasted no time to explicitly denounce the march, which not only featured a stark demonstration crossing the Cumberland River and traversing Broadway but also culminated with a speech at Legislative Plaza. "Just two days after celebrating the independence of our nation, white supremacists have taken to the streets of Nashville carrying Confederate flags and chanting ‘deportation saves the nation’ and “Seig Heil,’" the party stated, according to WSMV. Their statement called on Republican leaders to join in the condemnation of these so-called 'acts of terror' in the community.
