I think it was extremists of the LGBTQI+ persuasion that turned many people against them.

Most people were/are cool with gay marriage. Few people care who you love or what you do in the bedroom as adults.

I went to couple of do dah parades in Los Angeles during the 80s. They were creative and fun. There was no sexually explicit perversion.

But the "pride" thing has been pushed in people's faces in recent years. Sick exhibitionists and perverts are openly flaunting sexuality in public and demanding their right to do so.

Those extremists don't even represent the LGBT community.

They hijacked the rainbow as a symbol of atypical sexuality.

Some people are in your face about their pronouns.

They are trying to make homosexuality appealing to school children and even confusing kids into thinking that they might be "transgender".

So, blame the sickos, not normal LGB people.

If you're talking about pride as in the alphabet people parading around, then no one has brainwashed anyone. It's a natural form of disgust towards mentally ill people. But if you're talking about pride as in pride with your achievements or your character, then I guess it is normal for others to put down others. It's such a funny contradiction. Ephesians 5:22-24 does the whole “wives submit to your husbands” bit. 1 Corinthians 11:3 and Timothy 2:13 has men ordained as leaders, in Isiah 57:15 God is listed as “the patriarch of all patriarchs,” and overall there are no signs of accepted woman leadership in the bible, and there are a good number of churches that won’t allow for female pastors to lead their sermons.
