I would think the US 2nd amendment would have to be read in the light of the (English) Bill of Rights of 1688. That gave good protestant subjects (which you still were at that time) the right to keep arms appropriate to your station and as allowed by parliament.

Self defense was a reason for this as well as keeping the Roman Catholics nice and quiet. (they couldn't have arms). Americans had the formal right to keep arms from 1688 for self protection. So was it likely that your Framers were going to strip that right away?

Nah. They had noted that the British Parliament had started to restrict the right to keep arms and your Framers probably thought we'll eliminate the "as allowed by parliament" clause to make it an absolute right..

Leftist activist judges in government (as well as get-along swampers) firmly believe in establishing and practicing a class system in which the concept of inalienable rights do not exist; rights are granted to people by the grace of the almighty government. This is why virtually all of their major think-tank leaders subscribe to antihumanist, atheistic/new age religion, and globalist trends, to include digital currencies and social credit systems.

Some like Justices Roberts, Barrett, Jackson and Sotomayor may come across as idiots, but they know damn well what they're doing, and the mental gymnastics of trying to reconcile or find a middle ground for what's clearly not in the constitution is what makes them sound like hypocrites.

It is literally her body guard’s doing, IF the justice herself gave command to shoot the carjacker then she is in the wrong & should be punished along with Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito though I highly doubt we’ll see justice against these corrupt idiots.

Madison Cawthorn (when he was in office) would bring his guns to the airport then have them confiscated because he wasn’t following rules. He got off with no punishment. I do wonder why we don’t talk about Matt Gaetz buddy in crime admitting to crimes while showcasing receipts and under investigation with a woman admitted he paid for sex since Conservatives are a ‘moral’ high ground & to be ‘pure’ & ‘modest’. Her words are factually correct. The 2nd amendment was written to prevent government from seizing weapons, a reaction to what British soldiers did during the American Revolution. The amendment refers to "a well regulated militia", which has nothing to do with self defense. It has to do with people's ability to jointly fight against injustice.
