Prosecutors need to learn to follow the law and stop trying to take shortcuts like this.

yea, that's sad and wrong for that family, on both sides. I'd just re-do the trial, slap the prosecutors around and possibly take their licenses depending upon what went down. I don't know the truth, the judge should fix it. But letting him go on that... hugh?

I don't think the truth is "the gun went off when cocked it".

the lesson is, if you are a working around anyone with guns... don't. before working have the employer sign a contract that noone is allowed to point a gun at you for any reasons or they are fully liable for what happens with "said gun". Matter of fact, I'm hereby acclaiming this for myself and anyone in the world is hereby designated into such of my law. never point a gun at me, you are responsible if it goes off.
