Learn to be a grown up and have multiple news sources main stream and independent. Hey people are people with bias so figure them out. It's not the 30's with 3 channels where the novelty of the media pays for itself.

There is very clearly spin in mainstream media. Occasionally they are so startled by events, that they take 3 days to sort out the spin to use.

I prefer independent media that i have selected as trust worthy. Most independent media is worse than mainstream.

The only media I have any sort of trust for is the AP. But my trust is based on an establishment of credibility, so it's easy to lose if they suddenly start popping off inaccuracies or pushing agendas. Sadly, since citizens united I see agendas pretty much everywhere..

Mainstream media, of course. Contrary to some believe, sitting in your mother’s basement and ranting your conspiracy theories into a phone camera does not make you a journalist. Running a competent media company is a lot of work with a number of people involved.

I have a tough time believing that anyone would trust the mainstream, at this point. They've just been so blatantly dishonest. At least the independent media is generally pretty upfront about their biases.

Trust is a broad word, however I'd say that what I consider to be "news" are the mainstream media. Like distinguishing between fake boobs or real boobs. Technically, only ones real lol 😅
